Chichester District Council’s Main Depot

Following a suspension of site working from late March through May, earthworks, drainage and paving works continue to progress on major improvement works which include a large commercial vehicle wash, green water recycling and charging points for electric vehicles.

Following a review and analysis of the existing edge barrier system, new sprung barriers have been designed and erected to safeguard users of the carpark. A sprung barrier system has been utilised in order to minimise potential forces on the carpark structure.

Earthworks have commenced on a harbour front development in Birdham. Current works comprise a reinforced concrete box which will form a boathouse. Site constraints demand temporary sheet piled walls support local rear gardens during currency of the works.
